My name is Alex and I am a PhD candidate in Management and Human Resources at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My research lies at the intersection of entrepreneurship, platforms, and technology strategy. I study how discovery costs, human capital, and innovation complexity shape collaboration, organizational design, and value creation in a diversity of contexts from YouTube to manufacturing to pharmaceuticals.
Before my PhD, I earned my master's degree in business analytics at USC and completed my undergraduate studies in Economics at Yonsei University.
I will be on the 2026-2027 Job Market.
